Rural UMKM often face structural challenges such as limited capital, low production efficiency, minimal technological literacy, and restricted market access. Through a qualitative descriptive approach supported by field observations and interviews with UMKM actors, this study analyzes how the adoption of appropriate technology—technology that is affordable, simple, environmentally friendly, and aligned with local needs—can address these constraints. The findings indicate that the use of appropriate technology significantly improves production efficiency, product quality, and time management, while also reducing operational costs. Moreover, technology adoption encourages innovation, strengthens business management, and enhances competitiveness in local and regional markets. However, successful implementation requires continuous assistance, capacity building, and synergy between UMKM actors, government institutions, and community stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the role of community education and mentoring in increasing local economic independence in Kotabumi, Lampung. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of micro-entrepreneurs, community leaders, and empowerment program facilitators. The results show that entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, and strengthening production skills, accompanied by ongoing mentoring, can increase the capacity of communities to manage their businesses independently. Mentoring not only functions as knowledge transfer but also strengthens motivation, business networks, and access to economic resources. However, this study also identified several obstacles, such as limited capital, low technology utilization, and program sustainability. Therefore, synergy between the government, educational institutions, and local communities is a key factor in ensuring the success and sustainability of community empowerment. Islamic education has strategic potential in building environmental awareness through the concept of eco-theology based on the values of the Qur'an and Sunnah. This article aims to examine the role of Islamic education in instilling ecological awareness in students through a theological and pedagogical approach. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach to relevant primary and secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays a significant role in shaping the paradigm of humans as khalifah fil Ardh who are responsible for environmental sustainability. However, this transformation is not always accompanied by adequate digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness, making communities vulnerable to misinformation, digital fraud, and cybercrime. This study aims to describe and analyze a community-based digital literacy program designed to improve information literacy and cybersecurity skills. The program focuses on enhancing participants’ abilities to critically evaluate digital information, use digital platforms responsibly, and understand basic cybersecurity practices such as data protection, password management, and online privacy. Using a participatory and educational approach, the program was implemented through training sessions, workshops, and practical simulations tailored to community needs. The findings indicate that the digital literacy program contributes positively to increasing participants’ awareness, knowledge, and skills in managing digital information safely and ethically. Moreover, the program strengthens community resilience against cyber threats and promotes responsible digital citizenship. The research is based on the assumption that teachers often face limitations in designing and utilizing creative, technology-based learning media that align with students’ needs and contemporary educational demands. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores mentoring activities that include training, collaborative media development, classroom implementation, and reflective evaluation. The findings indicate that structured and continuous teacher assistance significantly enhances teachers’ pedagogical competence, creativity, and confidence in integrating innovative learning media into the teaching process. The use of interactive and contextual learning media contributes to increased student engagement, motivation, and understanding of learning materials. Furthermore, teacher assistance fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous professional development within schools. Parents play a central role in shaping positive attitudes toward reading by providing guidance, examples, and consistent practice from an early age. A strong interest in reading has a significant impact on children’s academic achievement, language development, and thinking skills, making early stimulation essential. Childhood is an ideal period to build reading habits, starting with basic activities such as recognizing letters, practicing spelling, and understanding simple word meanings. When these activities are carried out regularly, children can gradually develop the ability to read fluently and confidently. After children are able to read, the availability of interesting, enjoyable, and age-appropriate reading materials becomes crucial to maintaining and strengthening their reading interest. Storybooks with attractive illustrations, simple narratives, and relatable themes can help children associate reading with pleasure rather than obligation. Reading habits that are consistently developed in childhood tend to continue into adulthood. This study aims to analyze the role of participatory-based preventive health education in enhancing community knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors toward health promotion and disease prevention. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions involving community members, health cadres, and local stakeholders. The findings indicate that community participation plays a crucial role in increasing the effectiveness and sustainability of preventive health education programs. Active involvement of the community in planning, implementation, and evaluation fosters a sense of ownership, improves health literacy, and encourages collective responsibility for maintaining healthy behaviors. Moreover, participatory approaches strengthen social capital and empower communities to identify and address local health problems independently.
