Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out about child education in an Islamic perspective. Thisresearch is classified into the type of library research, namely research conducted in the library tocollect and analyze data sourced from libraries, both in the form of books, documents and otherlibrary materials that can be used as a source of reference to compile a scientific report. Datasources are books and journals or books relevant to child education in the Islamic perspective. Child education in an Islamic perspective is education base don Islamic religious guidanceappliedin the family which is intended to form children to become human beings who believe and havefaith in God Almighty, and have noble character which includes ethics, morals, character, spirituality or understanding and experience of religious values in everyday life. Early childhood education is very importants that in adult hood they do not commit immoral acts. The education of children in the perspective of the prophet's hadith that must be taught from an early agebroadly includes the science of tawhid, morals and worship. The most important education forchildren is tawhid education in the family, because the family is the best field in seeding religiousvalues.
