Implementasi Metode Kubaca Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Memahami Kata di TK Nurul Iman Sukamaju

The ability to read at an early age greatly affects the level of intelligence of children. The earlier a child learns to read, the more he likes to read and the better he reads. A reading experience that is given in an appropriate and fun way is very important for a child, because through a proper and enjoyable process, children will not only be able to read but also enjoy reading. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the steps in applying the "Kubaca" method which can improve the ability to recognize words in children at Nurul Iman Kindergarten Sukamaju. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of field research. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. This study concludes that the steps for implementing the Kubaca method that can improve the ability to recognize early childhood words in Nurul Iman Kindergarten Sukamaju are as follows: 1) the teacher prepares various kinds of words that will be conveyed to students, 2) the teacher raises words that have been arranged neatly, and 3) the teacher reads the cards aloud and repeatedly.
